Imaging and pathology systems
PACS and RIS replacement and LIMS deployment, from procurement through modality and analyser integration, training and go-live. Experience with Sectra, GE and Intelerad PACS and Cirdan LIMS.
Services
I've worked in GP and primary care, community, mental health, acute, ambulance, ICS and ICB, PCN and private healthcare settings. Most engagements are contract or interim roles of 3–12 months.
Levels I work at
I can lead at any of these levels, run the PMO that supports them, or join an existing team in a supporting role.
Turning a digital strategy or ICB plan into a set of changes that can be funded, sequenced and measured, with the benefits each one should deliver.
Choosing and balancing the programmes and projects that deliver the strategy, tracking dependencies between them, and re-prioritising when funding or national direction changes.
Leading related projects towards one set of outcomes. Blueprint, benefits map, governance and stakeholder engagement, run to MSP principles without the paperwork getting in the way.
Delivering a defined change to time, cost and quality, using PRINCE2, agile or a hybrid of the two, depending on the work.
When you need a specific answer
For programmes that have slipped against a fixed deadline, or gone live without the benefits they promised.
Programme recovery →An outside challenge of the business case, plan or go-live readiness before you commit.
Red team reviews →Testing an ICB or trust digital strategy for funding, capacity and sequencing, then turning it into a portfolio.
Strategy challenge →Specialist areas

Moving organisations onto new clinical systems, including EMIS Web, EMIS Community, SystmOne and Oracle Health, with data migration, testing, cutover runbooks and hypercare.
Data feeds and integrations using HL7, FHIR, GP Connect, Spine, MESH and IM1, so the record follows the patient into neighbourhood, urgent and community care.
GP IT programmes at CCG and ICB level: practice migrations, online and video consultation, clinical decision support, and the PCN and neighbourhood tools that sit on top.
Urgent care informatics including 111 direct booking, Summary Care Record access, virtual wards and the data flows that support them.
Benefits maps and measures agreed early, then evidence of the productivity gain after go-live.
DCB0160 clinical safety documentation and hazard workshops, DPIAs, data sharing agreements and DTAC as standard practice, which matters more as AI-enabled tools reach clinical settings.
Business cases, requirements and the route from information request through ITT to contract, then holding suppliers to what they signed up to.
Taking over a programme that has lost its way, giving the board an honest view of where it stands, and agreeing a re-baselined plan with suppliers.
Working arrangements
Contracts are held by my limited company, PRAG-DEL-SOL-ONE Ltd, registered in England in 2010.
